Orbital zine utilizes a horizontal organizational structure, in which the voices, agency and perspectives of all team members are valued, and in which fostering a diversity of background, experience, ability and reflective practice is considered essential.
When submitting to Orbital in any capacity (visual, written, or other), you confirm that depicted person(s) have acknowledged and agreed to their inclusion in your work. For situations where real individuals are used, and you are selected for the publication, you may be asked to provide a point of contact in order for us to verify usage.
By submitting to Orbital in any capacity, you also confirm that depicted person(s) are 18 years of age or older. Work involving sexualized or explicit imagery of underage people will not be accepted.
You will retain all rights to any media you submit, including ownership if applicable. If your media is selected for the publication, you grant Orbital a nonexclusive right, in perpetuity, to: Use, in connection with the publication only.
We hold the privacy of those who choose to submit in the highest regard. We do not have plans to share this outside of the community at this time, so no need to worry about normies.
Information Collected by Orbital
We only collect personal information that is relevant to the purpose of creating this body of work, and only information that you provide throughout the submission process in the form of surveys or content submissions.
Information You Provide To Us
We receive and store any information you enter during the submission process and provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be identified within the publication.
By providing us with your email address, you consent to allowing us to send you emails from time to time. The content of these emails will be related to the publication and selection process.
